Summary

Ruby's MCP connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants work inside your Ruby workspace. It offers 17 tools: 13 read your CRM and 4 make changes. The assistant acts as you and sees only what your Ruby account already sees.

Usage Guide

Connecting

  1. In Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop), open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT, use Settings → Connectors → Create. Other MCP clients that support remote servers with OAuth work the same way.
  2. Paste https://mcp-server.rubycrm.ai/mcp as the URL. No API key is needed.
  3. Your client opens Ruby's consent screen. Sign in with your normal Ruby account (including 2FA or OTP if you use it).
  4. Review what the connection can and cannot do, then click Connect.

Each connection belongs to one person and acts as them. If you connect Ruby in both Claude and ChatGPT, those are two separate connections you can revoke separately. Access stays signed in for up to 90 days of inactivity; after that, your client asks you to approve again.
